Abu Dhabi, March 8, 2024 – Juventus Academy Abu Dhabi hosted a phenomenal Family Day Event featuring the legendary Juventus and Italian footballer, Giorgio Chiellini. The event unfolded at Park Hyatt Hotel, Saadiyat Island, kicking off with a press conference followed by engaging activities at New York University Abu Dhabi, situated on the same island.
The press conference boasted a distinguished panel including Mr. Ahmad Rahma Al Masaood, the Academy’s President and Owner, Mr. Salah Adib, the Academy’s CEO, the iconic Juventus and Italian Star Mr. Giorgio Chiellini, and Mr. Martino Rimoldi, Juventus International Business Development Manager.
Mr. Ahmad stated, in alignment with the visionary initiatives of the Abu Dhabi Government to foster youth and children sports, it is our steadfast commitment to prioritize the development of youth and children sports within our community. Our primary objective is to not only encourage but also emphasize the importance of sporting activities as a fundamental component of holistic growth and development for our youth. Recognizing the profound impact of sports on the physical, mental, and social well-being of individuals.
Mr. Salah highlighted Juventus Academy Abu Dhabi’s dedication that goes beyond just technical skills and tactics. Here, the focus extends to instilling valuable leadership qualities, social skills, and fostering well-rounded individuals – leaders both on and off the pitch.
Mr. Chiellini, a true inspiration, shared his wisdom with the young players, urging them to chase their dreams with unwavering dedication. The press conference offered an interactive platform for fans and media representatives to ask their questions.
Following the press conference, the Family Day Event commenced. It witnessed the esteemed presence of Mr. Chiellini, the Italian Ambassador His Excellency Lorenzo Fanara, distinguished VIP members from Juventus Club, and representatives from the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT). The event brought together players from all academy branches along with their families for an unforgettable evening filled with friendly games, award ceremonies, and delicious catering.
Mr. Chiellini actively participated in the festivities, taking cherished group pictures with the players, and presenting well-deserved medals and certificates, further enriching the experience for all.
